About Me

Holly Veenis received a BA in art from Bridgewater College in 2014. After graduation, she worked as a staff photographer for two years at James Madison University, mainly photographing events. During her time at JMU she also taught an undergraduate level course on iPhonography.  Veenis received a Masters of Fine Arts with a focus in photography from The Pennsylvania State University in 2018.  She was the alternative photographic processes teaching assistant for Maine Media Workshops and College in the summer of 2018.  She was as an adjunct faculty for the School of Visual Arts at Penn State from 2018-2020. She currently lives in Virginia, working as a freelance photographer.
